The Struts framework is an open source project developed by Apache Software Foundation
This frame work is very easy and useful to develope/build web applications based on the Java Servlet
and JavaServer Pages technologies, This Frame work is designed based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern.

Struts 2.x is completely different compare to Struts 1.x , lot of component and functional differences between Struts 1.x and Struts2.x. Struts 2.x have a lot advantages comapare to 1.x, But still lot of projects are running in Struts 1.x and they didn’t migrated to 2.x
